Web Design & Development

"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works."
   - Steve Jobs

Vaxxine specializes in Web Design & Development. From front-end graphics to back-end technical specifications and programming, we take pride in constantly learning new skills with various Web technologies. More importantly, we take time to get to know each client and their business, and from that we develop a Web Site they can be proud of.

Why Should I Hire a Web Designer?

Many people feel that if they do their own web site it will save them money. This is fine for personal, experimental Sites, but if you are trying to promote yourself and/or a business, then you should invest some time, money, and effort in getting the job done right. It is here that you can ultimately benefit from our experience. Hiring a professional Web Designer ensures familiarity with all the standard Web Technologies such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, ASP, as well as database structures such as MySQL, Access and SQL Server. We can help put together a professional Site for you and we will optimize it for popular Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, and others.

Why Vaxxine?

Service, Talent & Experience: We have been designing Web Sites since the "The Web" was a baby.

What are the Costs?

Web Development and Programming services are charged by the hour: $115/hr. with a one-hour minimum fee.

Due to the scope and technical requirements of each project, we encourage you to contact us in order to discuss your specific requirements. Because each Web Site is unique, and requirements can vary greatly from project to project, we don't offer pre-fabricated "cookie-cutter" Web Sites. For every new client, we create a unique, custom-designed Web Site that is based on each client's unique specifications. We believe that the design of your Web site should reflect your business, and not look like everyone else's.

How do I get Started?

There are several important things to consider and plan for, prior to the start of any new Web Site project. The larger the scope of the project, the more time should be dedicated to planning. The planning stage is required to properly define the goals and structure of the Web Site. In essence, there are 4 major stages to constructing a new Web Site:

DEFINE DESIGN DEVELOP DEPLOY

To define, you must first ask yourself these obvious, but essential questions:

  • What is the purpose of the site?
  • What are the goals of the Site?
Careful planning and preparation prior to the start of your project is key to a successful Web Site project. This planning will provide a roadmap, or "Sitemap", and ultimately guarantee the efficient development and successful deployment of your project. Please start by downloading our Website Project Planner. This document contains more details on planning, and preparing for a new Web Site. Once you have reviewed the document, we invite you to contact us in order to schedule an appointment, where we can discuss your requirements in greater detail.
