CIRA's policy for Manual Change of .CA Domain Administrative Contact Email (MCACE)
The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has implemented a Manual Change of Administrative Contact Email(MCACE) policy. Note that this policy ONLY applies to .CA domain registrants who have lost their CIRA user account and password information (necessary to approve updates) and cannot retrieve it because the administrative contact email address associated with their domain registration, is no longer valid or functioning. If you believe that the email address you registered with the domain IS still valid, you can retrieve your CIRA user account and password here.

If you are unable to retrieve your CIRA user account and password because the email address in your domain record is no longer valid, you will need to complete the following procedure in order to have CIRA complete a Manual Change of Administrative Contact Email address (MCACE) for the registered domain. Registrants must begin by downloading the applicable form below. These forms are in Adobe PDF format. Once you have downloaded the applicable form, open it, complete it, print it, and sign the form in front of a witness as described in the downloadable MCACE forms below. The completed form must then be faxed to Vaxxine at:

Fax No: 905-685-8152, Attention: Vaxxine Domain Admin

Once we receive your fax, we will submit the requested changes to CIRA. CIRA will normally complete the process within 5 business days. A link to download the MCAC form appears below. Note that you will need either Adobe Acrobat, or the free Acrobat Reader software installed to view, complete, then print the completed form. Download Acrobat Reader Software to view pdf files

Download the appropriate MCACE form
Download and complete the applicable CIRA form below and complete the appropriate fields as described in the form. Fax the completed form to Vaxxine. Completed forms are then submitted by Vaxxine to CIRA (the .CA registry) for processing. Note that in some cases, CIRA may require additional documentation. We will advise if that is the case once you submit your completed forms.

IMPORTANT: All required* fields in the form must be completed. Any missing information will delay the process, and/or result in the request being rejected. Please ensure that the appropriate fields are completed accurately.
