Quick Start

This section will assist you with downloading, installing, and running Vaxxine's Webspeed Dialup Accelerator. For more detailed step-by-step installation instructions for Windows, please click here. For Macintosh Installation, please refer to our Mac page.

1. Download.

1. Download the Webspeed Dialup Accelerator installer to your desktop.
2. Once the download has completed, proceed to Step 2.

2. Install.

1. On your Desktop you will find an icon called "Accelerator_Win" (or "Accelerator_Mac" if you downloaded the Macintosh software) .
2. Double-click on the icon to start the installation procedure.
3. If prompted, you may be required reboot your system at this point.
4. Once the installation finishes, you will be prompted for a username and password. Enter your Vaxxine username and password in the fields provided.
5. To avoid having to enter your username and password every time, ensure that the "Save Password" box is checked. Proceed to Step 3.

3. Starting Webspeed Dialup Accelerator.

1. Webspeed Dialup Accelerator is automatically started when your computer starts up.
2. Acceleration will begin as soon as a supported browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape) or a supported email client (such as Microsoft Outlook or Eudora) is started.
3. On Windows platforms, you can verify that Webspeed Dialup Accelerator Service has been established by hovering over the Vaxxine Web Accelerator system tray icon (you should see a "Service Enabled..." message).

4. Using Webspeed Dialup Accelerator.

• Browse the web or download emails as you normally would.
• Your web access or email access will be automatically accelerated by Webspeed Dialup Accelerator.
• If you wish to stop the application, click on the Vaxxine Web Accelerator system tray icon and select "Stop Web Accelerator" from the pop-up menu, or if you wish to exit the application completely, click the Vaxxine Web Accelerator system tray icon, and choose Exit from the pop-up menu.
• If you wish to adjust Webspeed Dialup Accelerator settings, click on the Vaxxine Web Accelerator system tray icon and select "Settings" from the pop-up menu. Learn more about advanced settings in the User Guide.
